I’m posting this from another post I made elsewhere on the site.

I went to the inauguration for all of us.  Said hi to Obama for everybody.  That place was jammin yesterday.  Millions of folks.  Everybody happy, singing, dancing, crying and just plain ole having a great time. It was hard to walk around and it was cold by DC standards.

The crowds were so thick it took half an hour to walk two blocks. When Obama took the oath people started cheering as loud as they could.  It’s a wonder I can still hear.  I left my house at 6:00 am and it took until 10:30 to get to DC.  Normally that trip only takes about 45 minutes by train and little more than a half hour by car. The lines started down the escalator from the train station and you just waited and waited.

But it was all worth it! Any questions?  Just ask.
